Technical Sergeant Eric Norman was greeted by family and friends at the Buffalo Airport after being in UAE for six months with the U.S. Air Force.
"It feels amazing, it feels great" Norman said.
Norman was one of a few Airmen who had gotten a care package together for Timothy Richardson. Richardson is battling leukemia and, as a hopeful firefighter, has wanted to wear a different fire company shirt each day while he is in Oishei Children's hospital.
"We wanted him to make sure that he knew he was loved" Norman said.
As of this story airing, the package had not gotten to Timothy yet. The hope is it can be hand delivered to Timothy either at Children's hospital, or during a tour of Niagara Falls Air Base.
