The wanted fugitive by the City of Bradford Police has been arrested.

James Peters III turned himself in to the police just after 4am Thursday morning.

The City of Bradford Police thanked the Bradford Community and surrounding communities for all the tips and information provided. They also thanked the surrounding police agencies who helped with the investigation.

A substantial reward had been offered for information leading to Peters' arrest and police used social media, particularly Facebook, to put pressure on the wanted man.

Police say the 21-year-old led them on a two-state chase in a stolen vehicle that ended in Limestone, NY. He was being sought on charges of reckless endangerment, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, corruption of minors, receiving stolen property and several traffic offenses.

After the chase, Peters fled into the woods - possibly with a stolen firearm. He had not been seen since early last Friday morning.
