West Seneca Police officers can feel a bit safer on the job. Tuesday, they received 20 new Level III Ballistic Vests, secured through a grant provided by the Law Enforcement Foundation of WNY.

According to the department, these are "military-grade" vests that can stop most rifle and shotgun rounds, and can be used anytime the possibility firearms may be used.
