Who killed James Adamski?

Lancaster Police Department along with Erie County District Attorney, John Flynn and reopening a nearly 35 year old cold case.

Police are offering $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or people responsible for the murder of James Adamski.

James Adams was just 18 years old when he left a crowded Halloween costume party at the 5&23 Bar on Transit Road in Depew in the early hours of the morning on October 31, 1982. Police say he had a few drinks before he left. The Depew High School Student was last seen leaving the bar with a girl on foot, south on Transit Road.

A couple of months later, two rabbit hunters found Adams in a shallow grave on Ransom Road in Lancaster. His body was partially decomposed.

Almost 35 years later, police still hasn’t cracked this case.
This murder case is now being examined using contemporary investigative techniques and advancements in forensic technology.
