A window washer was transported by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center Tuesday morning after falling 20 feet.
According to the Grand Island Fire Company, Robert Power, 52, of Niagara Falls was washing windows on the second floor of a home when his ladder slid off a dormer and he was thrown to the ground.
Officials say Power was treated by GIFC medics for severe traumatic injuries and taken to ECMC for follow up medical attention.
