Police say a bicyclist was injured Friday morning when he went down while riding along Niagara Falls Boulevard and was then run over by a truck.

It happened around 7:30am. Police say the 54-year-old bicyclist, identified as George Stanley of Cheektowaga, "went down to the ground." His right ankle was then run over by a truck as it made a right hand turn into a driveway.

Stanley was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the truck, a 22-year-old man from Seneca Falls, isn't facing charges at this time.
