The winter weather usually hits the southtowns pretty hard, but today you could find people taking advantage of the warmer temperatures.
Charlie Patterson says he’s making the most of today’s 75 degree high by spending time in the yard of his orchard park home.
Well I’m just raking up just the last bit of leaves before the snow,” Patterson told 7 Eyewitness News.
It’s not what you expect to find just days before thanksgiving. Patterson, dressed in a short sleeve shirt, says talk about the potential for doesn’t worry him.
Patterson is taking things day by day.
“I haven’t even got my snow blower out of the shed yet . . . I’m going to hold off and fight it as long as I can.”
Just down the road, neighbors could be seen putting up Christmas lights and decoration wearing short and t-shirts. “
You think two years back we had several feet of snow,” Jacqueline Scheck told 7 Eyewitness News. I mean definitely take advantage of the warm weather now and hope come Sunday, we don’t get several feet of snow.
