Buffalo Police have arrested a 32-year-old Buffalo woman in connection to an early morning hit-and-run accident on Colvin Avenue near Hertel Avenue.
Officials say the incident happened today around 7:45 a.m.
According to Northwest District officers, the female driver was pulling out of a driveway on Colvin Avenue, when her car struck another vehicle traveling on Colvin. Police say the vehicle that was hit, slid before landing on its side.
Police say the 32-year-old woman left the scene, but was found shortly after by patrol officers on Linden Avenue.
Buffalo Fire responded to the scene and had to pull the 68-year-old female victim out of her hit car. The woman was transported to ECMC, treated, and released.
Police charged the 32-year-old woman with criminal possession of narcotics, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident.
