University at Buffalo Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery on the South Campus Thursday.
Police say a man with a knife attempted to rob two women in the Parker lot around 12:30 p.m..
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-6-inch thin-build black male wearing a black and grey patterned ski mask and light grey zip-up hoodie.
Investigators say the suspect is no longer on campus. They say the suspect left campus through backyards on Winspear Avenue.
UB Police have diverted more resources to the South Campus and have been in touch with the Buffalo Police department.
Anyone who may have seen the suspect is asked to call University Police at 716-645-2227.
