Morgan Degolier is back walking on her own two feet, but the journey hasn't been easy for the 9 year-old from Dunkirk.
In June of 2014, Morgan started experiencing unbearable pain in her right leg.
At first, it was chalked up to simple growing pains, but when the pain persisted, her parents knew something wasn't right.
Xrays revealed tumors growing in her leg, and Morgan was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. She was immediately sent to Women and Children's Hospital for treatment, which included chemotherapy.
Through surgeries, rehab and set-backs Morgan has managed to stay positive.
Today she is walking once again and a proud cheerleader.
And it isn't the pain or obstacles she remembers most about her time at WCHOB, it's the caring doctors, nurses and staff she encountered at the hospital.
