If you eat lunch at new Clarence restaurant today, you can help out the Buffalo City Mission. CoreLife Eatery on Transit Road is having a "pay-what-you-want" day ahead of its opening day, and the money collected will be donated.
The restaurant says 100% of its proceeds will be donated to the Buffalo City Mission. Restaurant workers did research on nonprofits in the Buffalo area, and they say the City Mission stood out. Patrons can pay what they would like for their food, and the goal is to raise $2,500 for the City Mission's afterschool and educational programming.
CoreLife Eatery officially opens its Clarence location (on Transit Road in front of the Dick's store) July 14th.
