BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Three longtime friends noticed a common need as their individual ventures began to reopen: affordable, effective disinfection services.
"I was looking into it for my own business," Garon Evanson said. "And the prices we were getting from some folks were just astronomical."
So Evanson, along with James Fleming and Brian Weinberg, came together to found Disinfect-It. The next step was familiarizing themselves with their equipment.
"A lot of the distributors that provide us with the disinfecting chemicals we use, they were also able to give us remote webcam training,"Fleming said.
The chemicals used by Disinfect-It are earth-friendly and kill 150 additional viruses and bacteria. They're based in North Buffalo, but have fanned out beyond Erie County in their first few months.
"Within a matter of a few weeks we had about 15 or 20 clients," Weinberg said. "Now we're up to 40 or 50 and we're almost looking to hire at this point."
Disinfect-It offers both routine services for businesses and restaurants and one-time service for homes and apartments. You can find more information ontheir website.
