BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The last few months while we have been staying at home a few new businesses have opened up in the Queen City!
“My store is a house plant gallery, I sell a lot of house plants,” Johanna Dominguez, owner of Put a Plant on It , said.
The plant store opened August 1st. Dominguez hopes to bring her planting expertise to the Elmwood Village.
“Everything in the shop is 98 percent local,” Dominguez says she will also host planting classes in the backyard space.
Two more spots opened up on Elmwood Avenue.
Overwinter Coffee has its second coffee shop across from the Lexington Co-op.
Griddle and Greens moved from the Ellicott Square Building to Elmwood and Allen. Serving up melty sandwiches and salads.
Down near the water on Chicago Street-- Shuck Shack is serving up seafood on the weekends.
You can take a swing in the new Buffalo Golf and Social, a new golf lounge on Washington Street downtown.
Golf Pro Jesse Struebing says you can use the space to host a private outing for a small group of people, schedule a coaching session to learn more about golf or come by to take a few shots on their course simulators.
“I'm so excited to be open and bring this product to Buffalo,” Struebing said.
You can choose up to 50 courses on the simulators from courses like St. Andrews to Augusta.
