BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Zoo is adding hours to its winter schedule, allowing more visitors to come through the holidays.

In a press release, the zoo announced it will be open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the next two weeks, excluding Christmas Day. It had been operating on a winter hours schedule since November 16, only open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It will return to that schedule in the new year and will remain open on those days only until March 28, 2021.

Zoo officials also said the zoo will be open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Presidents Day.

Temperature checks, mask requirements and modifications to some guest pathways and routes are still in effect.
