BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you're planning on heading to the gym when they reopen on Monday, make sure you have a proper face covering!
Gov. Cuomo's office says bandanas, buffs, and gaiters are not accepted as face coverings for use in gyms and fitness centers in New York state.
The governor's office says acceptable face coverings for COVID-19 include, but are not limited to, cloth-based face coverings and disposable masks appropriate for exercise that cover both the mouth and nose.
All gyms in Erie County have been approved to open on Monday August 24th.
This comes after Gov. Cuomo approved of gyms to open at limited capacity earlier this week.
