As we head into the winter months, people are getting excited about outdoor activities.

So much so, that outdoor gear sales are rising.

"We've seen such an uptick in all the camping this year and it's pretty neat," said Scott Armstrong, General Manager at Cabela's.

He said during camping, hunting and fishing seasons, sales go through the roof.

"People just wanted to get out, right? With the COVID and all, and it's a safe way to get out. Out on to the water, right? And fishing just exploded," he said.

You can find all your fishing needs here.

"Anything from rods, rails, fishing lures, tackle boxes the list goes on and on," said Armstrong.

And for camping or hunting gear, you might want to stop by and ask the expert outfitters here for what you need.

Skiing has also grown in popularity, the Snowflake Ski Shop in Lockport has also seen an increase in sales.

"It's been absolutely nuts. With the season and everything, and the way everything's been going and everything, it's been extremely busy and very positive," said Greg Bromley, owner of Snowflake Ski Shop.

You can find skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets and clothes. And staff will sit with you to help you out with all your needs.
