LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — Hybrid Ninja Academy on Commerce Parkway in Lancaster is a place where they training mini warriors. But come this fall, they’ll be training warriors and academics.

“If it’s gonna be a hybrid, pun intended, kind of learning where kids are in schools some days and have to learn distantly on other days, we wanted to provide a place where parents can feel safe doing that,” gym owner Patrick Hall said.

Ninja Plus is what Hall is calling this distant learning program.

“We combine ninja warrior, you know the physicalness of it, with education.”

He’s even gone as far as hiring three certified teachers to help the students.

“They’ll walk around, help all the kids," he said. " We’re capping it off at 15 a kids a day. No more. So the parents can be assured that each kid gets the individual attention that they need.”

Parents can sign their children up for half days or fulls days and one thing will be guaranteed.

“All their assigned learning is completed by the time they leave our doors,” Hall said.

Prices for the Ninja Plus program vary according to need, but each option rates at around $10 an hour.

“Our most popular options thus far has been what we call our flex options. Flex option allows parents to just buy a block of days and they can let us know, when they know, when they wanna use those day,” Hall said.

Spots for Ninja Plus come on a first come first serve basis, so Hall suggests anyone interested to register fast.
