NEW YORK (WKBW) — The New York State Department of Labor says it has resolved an issue that was preventing people from getting their unemployment benefits certified, Sunday morning.
7 Eyewitness News has received numerous messages from viewers who were receiving error messages when attempting to certify their unemployment benefits online and over the phone.
If you certified earlier today & received an error, please log back into the system & certify again to ensure your certification was captured.

Remember you can certify this week until Sat 1/9/21.
Everyone will get all benefits they are entitled to. Thank you for your patience.
The state now says that those who were receiving error messages will now be able to have their unemployment benefits certified.
The DOL says you can certify this week until Saturday, January 9th.
