BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Bills are joining dozens of other local organizations to hand out over 500 free backpacks in Buffalo on Sunday. The event was originally scheduled for Thursday evening.
In addition to the backpacks supplied by The Teacher's Desk, free Project Play sport “play packs” and 1,000 designer Coach hats will be offered.
The Buffalo Bills Foundation is sponsoring free boxed dinners from, “A Great Plate Catering” and is providing $25 gift cards for Tops Markets for the first 100 families.
The giveaway takes place from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Johnnie B. Wiley Amateur Athletic Sports Pavilion at 1100 Jefferson Avenue.
The giveaway is for children only and they must be present to receive them.
