Local gym using parks as a temporary workout space

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — Shannon Connors of Shannon Connors Fitness wanted to make sure she could keep her clients moving despite gyms not being fully open. That's why she started sunrise sweat classes held at Como Lake Park in Lancaster.

"We just said, 'Let's get people outside, they need fresh air'" Connors said.

The classes are about 30 minutes each and are held four times per week. Each class starts at 6am and is held right on the basketball courts at Como Lake Park. Classes are $10 for the public, or included in the $40 monthly membership to Shannon Connors Fitness. All of the information can be found here.
