HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — With gyms not allowed to reopen indoors, the Jewish Community Center and Rise Fitness Studio are getting creative with outdoor options.
JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER
The JCC is opening their pool to members starting Monday, July 6th.
At 25 percent capacity, the JCC can have swimmers swimming laps only and for a maximum of 50 minutes to allow for cleaning.
Every swimmer must make a reservation using the MY J app.
When the 50 minute session is done, deep cleaning is done to the lawn chairs, tables, locker rooms and anything else that would be touched.
The hope is to open phase two of the pool the following week.
Phase two would include aerobic classes and the opportunity for families to reserve an entire pool lane.

RISE FITNESS STUDIO
For Rise, they were offering virtual classes since the onset of the pandemic, and as they await an official opening, outdoor classes are the next step.
Rise is offering outdoor classes that allow for social distancing and follow state mandates.
