Bandits make final prep before East Finals

It has been seven years since the Bandits last raised a banner inside of First Niagara Center, and they're hoping to take the first step in ending their title drought Monday in Game 1 of the East Finals against New England.

After securing a first round bye, the squad holding its final practice inside of FNC earlier today.

The Black Wolves have some momentum, winning their playoff opener, but during the regular season, Buffalo won two of three against their division foes.

"In the regular season we worked well and we did a good job, but that means squat right now," Head Coach Troy Cordingley said. 

"It's a new season and if you're not going to be intense and ready to go and raise the game another couple of notches, you're not going to be successful."

Game 1 is set for Monday at 7 p.m.
