BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Taylor Accursi had a huge night for the Buffalo Beauts but it wasn't enough as the team fell 7-4 to the Metropolitan Riveters on Saturday night. The two teams were playing in the NWHL's first ever outdoor game, this one taking place at Riverworks in downtown Buffalo.

The Beauts trailed 3-0 in the third period before Accursi scored the Beauts' first goal of the night. The Riveters had a response to make it a 4-1 game but Accursi couldn't be stopped, scoring another three goals to tie the game with just minutes left on the clock.

The Riveters, though, had a big response scoring three of their own to seal the win.

The Beauts are now 6-7 overall. They'll be back on the ice Sunday, December 29th in a rematch with the Riveters.
