A day after releasing several players and setting their initial season roster, the Buffalo Bills made more moves on Sunday.
The Bills have parted ways with punter Colton Schmidt, a day after they released punter Jon Ryan. Schmidt has been with the Bills since 2014 and has a career average punt of 44.1 yards.
In place of Schmidt, the Bills claimed punter Corey Bojorquez off waivers. He didn't play at all this preseason for the New England Patriots but had a great career at New Mexico where he had an average punt of nearly 47 yards.

The Bills also added off waivers defensive back Ryan Lewis who also was last with the Patriots. The Bills are familiar with Lewis, in fact they had interest in him last season but he chose to remain with the Patriots after having "familiarity with the coaching staff".
Eight players were signed to the team's practice squad as of Sunday evening. Those signees included WR Cam Phillips, RB Keith Ford, OL De'Ondre Wesley, T Gerhard de Beer, DE Mike Love, CB Levi Wallace, S Dean Marlowe and LB Corey Thompson. The Bills have two more spots on their practice squad.
