Bills Head Coach Rex Ryan backed off comments he made on Friday, when he said he was confident Reggie Ragland didn't suffer any ligament damage to his knee.

There was concern in his voice when he addressed the health of the the Bills second round pick prior to the team's scrimmage on Saturday.

It didn't good sound good, and ESPN's Adam Schefter is now reporting Ragland suffered a partially torn ACL.

While you could consider a partial tear "good news" for the Bills, it's added blow to the defense and the draft class.

First round pick Shaq Lawson is still recovering and rehabbing from shoulder surgery after re-aggravating an injury from his playing days at Clemson.

He along with Ragland were tabbed as "day one starters" on the Bills defense.
