The Buffalo Bisons are going to host a “Keep Brady Suspended” night – but you might not like to attend if you’re named Tom or Brady!
The Bisons announced the theme of their June 11th doubleheader against Charlotte on Tuesday. The team says it’s in response to the Pawtucket Red Sox holding a “Free Brady Night” on June 10 at McCoy Stadium.
New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady has been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season, though he’s once again challenging that suspension.
As part of the Bisons “Keep Brady Suspended” night, fans who bring a ‘properly inflated’ football to donate to area youth football programs will get buy-one, get-one free tickets. The team will also be accepted ‘un-destroyed’ cell phone donations for Cell Phones for Soldiers charity.
There will also be a 12.5 percent discount at the Bisons gift store given to anyone who brings a Tom Brady jersey or T-shirt that will be added to the postgame fireworks display.
And during the game, the scoreboard will feature some of the biggest cheaters in sports history, notably Patriots’ coach Bill Belichick.
HOWEVER, if your name is Tom or Brady, fair warning – you will not be allowed onto Coca-Cola Field until after the first four innings of game one of the doubleheader. The team urged, “Please, no appeals.”
