Blue Jays sign three players to minor league deals; likely to play with Bisons

TORONTO (WKBW) — The Toronto Blue Jays announced they've signed three players to minor league deals, likely to play for the Buffalo Bisons.

The Blue Jays signed infielders Richard Urena and Tyler White, and outfielder Forrest Wall to deals on Friday.

Urena, 24, spent last season with the Baltimore Orioles system after previously spending seven years within the Blue Jays system.

Urena previously played 163 games with the Bisons (2018-2019) and hit .250 with 29 doubles, seven triples, 11 home runs and 81 RBI.

White, 30, spent the 2019 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers after previously spending time with the Houston Astros from 2016 to 2019.

During his time in the majors, White held a .236 average to go along with 26 home runs and 103 RBI.

Wall, 25, spent parts of the 2019 season with the Bisons recording a .255 average in 14 games over the last month of the year.
