BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — 26 Shirts has teamed up with Buffalo Bills running back Zack Moss and local artist Edreys Wajed to create an exclusively designed shirt to benefit the Lackawanna Life Center.
"You get into a mode where it's all positive, self-taught. Determination. Just a reinforcement that you can be anything you want to be," Moss said.
Part of that attitude is giving back.
"That's something that's always been a part of me. It's the way I grew up. That's part of my beliefs period," Moss said.
With every purchase of the shirt, "Moss Mode," $8 will be donated to the Lackawanna Life Center Campus.
"It's a lot of poverty in that area. I grew up in the inner cities and things like that so it was kind of like a no brainer," Moss said, "It's just like everything you could possibly want if you grew up in an area like that."
The funds raised will be used to benefit the construction of the center. When complete it will include a fitness center, gymnasium, daycare center, medical facility, housing and other resources that will serve disadvantaged families in the City of Lackawanna.
"If everyone just gives a little bit we can all make a big difference," Del Reid, co-founder of 26 Shirts said.
"It was a no brainer for me. I like things that have missions included with them," local artist Edreys Wajed said.
The shirt is for sale online here through January 10.
