BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — As the Buffalo Bills are set to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game on Sunday, Rich "Bull" Gaenzler of Morning Bull has a request to all local grocery stores; no more Kansas City BBQ sauce.
"The local supermarkets, they can't be carrying this stuff during Bills Chiefs week," Gaenzler said.
Gaenzler put the call out, demanding the sauce be removed from local grocery stores, and Dash's Market answered.
"This is like a community effort," Tony Pacella, director of operations at Dash's said, "so we can all get together and help the bills pull out that win on Sunday."
"They were all aboard, they loved it," Gaenzler said, "Until the Bills beat the Chiefs in KC, you can't get KC BBQ sauce at Dash's."
He hopes that other local markets will join the BBQ sauce ban.
"Truck it off for a week and then you can bring it back when it's all said and done."
He says it's the least he can do, giving as much energy as possible to the team.
"This is for Bills Mafia, this is for Bills mojo, anything we can do to help the Bills," Gaenzler said.
