Bills promote Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazier among other changes

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Bills have promoted Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazier to Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator.

Frazier has led the Bills' defense since 2017. In 2018, the Bills defense finished second in the NFL, only allowing 294.1 yards per game. The Bills defense finished third in the NFL in 2019, only allowing 298.3 yards per game.

Before coming to the Bills, Frazier was Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings (2011-2013), Defensive Coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2014-2015), and Secondary Coach of the Baltimore Ravens (2016) among other coaching credits.

In addition to promoting Frazier, the Bills announced the following coaching changes:

  • Marc Lubick named Assistant WR Coach/Game Management
  • Jimmy Salgado named Nickel Coach
  • Shea Tierney named Assistant QBs Coach
  • Ryan Wendell named Assistant Offensive Line Coach
