BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Bills have already made a handful of changes to their 53-man roster. After waiving more than 20 players on Saturday, they've formed their first practice squad for 2020 and brought back a pair of veterans.
Andre Roberts, a two-time Pro Bowler as a kick returner, has returned to the team after being released yesterday. So has defensive back Dean Marlowe.
In order to make room for the two, the Bills have added offensive guard Jon Feliciano and rookie wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins on short-term injured reserve. Instead of being out for the whole year, they only need to be on IR for three weeks.
The Bills have also added 17 players to their practice squad. The new league limit is 16, but because of the International Pathway program, running back Christian Wade doesn't count against the team's total:
- QB Davis Webb
- RB Christian Wade*
- RB Antonio Williams
- WR Duke Williams
- TE Nate Becker
- TE Jason Croom
- OL Evan Boehm
- OL Victor Salako
- OL Brandon Walton
- OL Trey Adams
- DE Bryan Cox, Jr.
- DE Mike Love
- DT Justin Zimmer
- LB Andre Smith
- CB Dane Jackson
- CB Cam Lewis
- S Josh Thomas
The Bills open their regular season on September 13th at home against the New York Jets.
