BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Following the Buffalo Bills overtime loss to the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card game, linebacker Lorenzo Alexander announced he will be retiring from the NFL.

Alexander, 36, played 13 seasons in the NFL, including four with the Buffalo Bills.
During his time as a Bill, he recorded 24 sacks, including a career high 12.5 in 2016.

Alexander was honored by Bills fans in Orchard Park with a special timeout, receiving a standing ovation from Bills fans.
