ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — A pair of young stars exited the Bills' 27-17 win over the Jets with injuries and did not return.
Both outside linebacker Matt Milano [hamstring] and middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds [shoulder] left Sunday's game early and didn't come back into the game. Milano's injury happened late in the second half, while Edmunds injury happened in the third quarter.
Before leaving the game, Milano had three tackles and an interception. Edmunds, who was injured on a play when he failed to tackle Jets wideout Jamison Crowder, had two tackles before exiting the game.
Sean McDermott said he couldn't provide an update but was hoping to have new information on Monday.
If either the Milano or Edmunds injury are serious, the Bills will be left scrambling to try and replace some of the most talented players on their defense.
