BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A former Bills quarterback is offering up his congratulations to Josh Allen on his stand-out 2020 season.

Drew Bledsoe took to Twitter late Monday night to congratulate Allen for breaking the Bills single-season passing record he set back in 2002.

Allen broke that record during Sunday's blowout win over the Dolphins. He threw for 224 yards to break Bledsoe's record of 4359 yards thrown in a single season. Allen's record now stands at 4544 passing yards.

Bledsoe played for the Bills for three seasons after spending more than a decade in New England. He's currently in the New England Patriot's Hall of Fame.

The Bills will host the Indianapolis Colts for their first home playoff game in 25 years on Saturday.
