BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Will there be another Buffalo-Carolina connection? There is a chance.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Buffalo Bills are set to host tight end Greg Olsen at some point this week. Olsen most recently played for the Carolina Panthers.
Former Panthers’ TE Greg Olsen will visit the Bills and Redskins this week, per source. Buffalo’s GM Brandon Beane used to be with Carolinas, as did Washington’s HC Ron Rivera.

Four days ago, Olsen announced that he and the Panthers would be mutually parting ways. Olsen had been with the Panthers since 2011 and during that time, had 524 catches, 6,463 yards, and 39 touchdowns.
Olsen is very familiar with Bills head coach Sean McDermott and General Manager Brandon Beane, playing under them while they were with the Carolina organization. Olsen would provide veteran leadership and could be of use to help develop rookie tight ends Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney.
