BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Despite earlier reports of an NFC West season opener, the Buffalo Bills may be taking on a division opponent.
According to Manish Mehta of NY Daily News, the Bills will take on the New York Jets at home to kick off the season. It would be the second straight year the two teams will meet in Week 1.

This contradicts a report on Wednesday where John Clayton of 710 ESPN Seattle, stated the NFL was planning to begin the 2020 regular season with games between the AFC and NFC for the first four weeks of the year. Clayton shared the news Wednesday afternoon during an appearance on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh.
If true, this would mean the Bills would start their season with four straight games against the NFC West.
While we don't know the validity or the order of the match ups just yet, we do know the Bills will host the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams and travel to the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.
The full NFL regular season schedule is set to be released at 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
