(WKBW) — Here's a spoonful of nostalgia: Flutie Flakes will return to Wegmans shelves by mid-December.
According to the President of PBL Sports, Doug Flutie will be at New Era Field Sunday for a ceremony. The ceremony prompted the return of the cereal.
If you can't wait to get your hands on Flutie Flakes, you can buy the cereal online. According to PLB Sports website, the cereal costs $15 per two-pack of boxes. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.

About 30,000 boxes of the cereal will be available to purchase.
Doug Flutie played for the Buffalo Bills for three seasons. In an interview with 7 Eyewitness News, Doug Flutie says his his most memorable moment with the Bills was when the team beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.
“I have this image of jumping into Bruce Smith's arms after running the ball in on the fourth down play against Jacksonville and winning that game,” said Flutie.
