BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week following his performance against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football.

Diggs is the first Bills wide receiver since Andre Reed to hold the title, which came in Week 12 of 1994.

The title comes after Diggs caught nine passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns on Monday night, breaking several franchise records along the way. Entering the last week of the season, Diggs now holds the franchise record for receiving yards in a season, breaking a record set by Eric Moulds in 1998. Diggs also set the Bills record for most receptions in a single season.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week a team-record four times this season.

The Bills play their final game of the 2020 regular season on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. A win would secure the number two spot in the AFC seeding.
