BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Weeks after she was diagnosed with Stage III Hodgkin's Lymphoma, the wife of Bills DT Kyle Peko, says she is cancer free. Guliana announced the news on Twitter Tuesday evening.
"My wife got so many messages, I got so many messages throughout this time so I'm very blessed by Bills Mafia for spreading all the love and support and all the prayers," Peko said Wednesday. "I'd just like to thank everyone for all the support through this time."
"Peko is a fighter and I'm sure his wife is the same way," teammate Micah Hyde added. "So fortunately we got the good news today and we're just beyond happy. The whole team is. We're a family here and we appreciate each others company so to hear news like that I couldn't be happier for him and his family."

Peko spoke to reporters about his wife's diagnosis during Training Camp in late July, stating "my wife is strong, she's a fighter."
Peko's arrival at Training Camp was delayed due to his wife's diagnosis, but he said it was her idea for him to join his teammates at practice, rather than staying home.
"This is how I support my family, this is the way I take care of her and my kids," Peko said in late July. "As a husband and a man, it's my obligation to be there for my family and you're right it's crazy that I'm here but she wouldn't have it no other way."
Peko joined the Bills in 2018 after two seasons with the Denver Broncos, he is currently on the practice squad.
