Trailing by 11 in the second half, the UB Men's Basketball team used an 18-5 run to take a 52-50 lead over Ball State, but t wasn't enough as the Cardinals rallied for a 92-77 win, handing the Bulls a second straight home loss.
David Kadiri led UB with 23 points, while Blake Hamilton added 14 and Nick Perkins chipped in with 12 off the bench for the Bulls.
As a team, UB shot 40 percent from the floor, but their defense was unable to cool a hot shooting Ball State team as the Bulls shot 49%.
Six players tallied double-figures for Ball State, which had three players score 17 points.
UB will look to get back in the win column when it travels to Kent State on Tuesday.
