The UB Women's Basketball team fell to 1-2 in Mid-American Conference play following an 88-71 loss to Central Michigan on Saturday.

A rematch of the MAC title game from March, UB led once, at 12-11 in the first quarter, on a jump shot from Cardinal O'Hara product Summer Hemphill.
The squad would be tied at 17 before the Chippewas took control for good.
Joanna Smith struggled from the field, hitting just four of her 17 shots on the afternoon. She went 2-for-10 from beyond the arc and finished with 11 points.
Stephanie Reid and Grand Island native Cassie Oursler also finished with 11 points. Theresa Onwuka led the Bulls with 15.
UB returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 11, when they host Toleda. Tip-off is schedule for 7 p.m. at Alumni Arena.
