BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Daemen College has announced that they are suspending all spring practices for the upcoming season, effective immediately.
Earlier on Thursday, the men's and women's basketball teams found out the NCAA Division-II Tournament was cancelled on their way to their respective venues.
According to a press release from the school, they will continue to monitor this fluid situation throughout the coming weeks and months. They added that their primary concern is for the safety and well-being of our student-athletes and coaches.
A determination about the safe return to practices and competitions will come at a later date.
