The Canisius hockey team's 17-game unbeaten streak was snapped as their season came to an end Friday night with a 6-2 loss to Robert Morris in the Atlantic Hockey semifinals.

After winning the conference regular season crown, the Griffs end the year with a 21-11-7 overall record.

Their 17-game unbeaten streak was the longest in the nation as the Griffs went without a loss for two months, dating all the way back to Jan. 13.

RMU will face the winner of Army and Air Force on Saturday in the AHC Championship and a berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Nick Hutchison and David Parrottino scored for Canisius.
