The amazing run of the Niagara County Community College baseball team has come to an end. The Thunderwolves fell in the NJCAA Division III World Series quarterfinals Tuesday.
NCCC lost 9-1 to Rowan Gloucester (New Jersey). The game ended in the eighth inning because of an eight-run rule.
Lackawanna's Joe Milkowski drove in the T-Wolves' only run of the ballgame. He hit into a bases loaded double play in the top of the first which scored Brandon Nicholson from third base. The Roadrunners plated the next nine runs.
NCCC ends their season with the record of 45-7.
