BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara men's hockey team has advanced in the Atlantic Hockey playoffs.
The Purple Eagles topped Canisius 2-1 on Sunday in a winner-take-all game three. The Purple Eagles won the first meeting on Friday before falling to Canisius Saturday evening.
Jared Brandt and Ben Sokay scored for the Purple Eagles in the win.
Niagara will now head to Colorado Springs where they will face 3rd seed Air Force in the quarterfinal round. The first game is set for March 15th.
