AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Senior forward Alanna Smith led the way for No. 8 Stanford, scoring 30 points en route to a 62-55 win over UB at Alumni Arena Friday afternoon. Cierra Dillard scored 21 for the Bulls, who fall to 7-3 on the season.
In the fourth quarter, Buffalo made a late push, pulling within two of Stanford, but could never overtake the eighth ranked team in the country.
UB will be back in action on Sunday afternoon when the Bulls host St. Bonaventure.
