The UB Bulls officially have a target on their backs as they head into the postseason.
With an 80-68 win over Akron Tuesday night, the Bulls clinched the #1 seed in the Mid-American Conference Tournament and will play their first game in the quarterfinal round.
It wasn't the greatest first half for the Bulls as for the first time this season in MAC play, they trailed at the half.
The second half though was a different story. UB came back and tied things up at 45-45 with 15:38 left in the game after Wes Clark hit a three from the top of the key. From there, they never looked back.
CJ Massinburg led the Bulls with 26 points, Wes Clark had 18 while Jeremy Harris and Nick Perkins each added 14.
UB has a bye straight through to the quarterfinals and will play their first game on March 8th.
