BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The UB women's basketball team wrapped up their regular season road schedule with a big win. The Bulls topped Akron 76-61 on Wednesday night to improve to 8-9 in conference play.
The Bulls are currently 7th in the latest Mid-American Conference standings which would give them a first round prequarterfinal game. The Bulls will need a win in their home finale though to solidify that advantage when games take place next Monday.
Dyaisha Fair recorded another 20+ point game, finishing with 26 points and eight rebounds to lead the Bulls in the win. Teresa Onwuka finished with 16 points and seven rebounds while Adebola Adeyeye chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds.
UB will wrap up their regular season schedule on Saturday when they host Kent State. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
