AMHERST, NY (WKBW) — University at Buffalo running back Jaret Patterson is having a phenomenal junior season and the college football world continues to take notice. Patterson has been named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award, given to the nation's top running back.
Through UB's first four games, Patterson has 920 rushing yards which boasts an average of 230 yards a game - good enough to lead the nation. He also has 16 rushing touchdowns, which is good for third among all running backs.

Three finalists will be named on Monday, December 21st with the winner announced on Thursday, January 7th.
