Six Orchard Park student-athletes sign letters of intent

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It was a busy afternoon at Orchard Park High School as six student-athletes signed letter of intent.

Brooke Becker signed to play girls ice hockey at Providence College. Becker had a stellar season last year, finishing as the league's second-leading scorer with 23 goals and 18 assists. She also became the only player in the nine-year history of the WNY Girls Ice Hockey Federation to be selected to the 2018-19 All-USA Preseason All-American Team.

Abby Ryan signed to play girls volleyball at Robert Morris University. According to Max Preps, Ryan played in 90 sets this season. She recorded 415 kills, 122 digs, and 21 blocks.

Max Streety signed to play lacrosse at Pace University. According to Max Preps, Streety tallied 22 goals last season and added 12 assists.

Jaden Swiatek signed to play softball at Niagara University. According to Max Preps, Swiatek had a .473 batting average with 35 hits and 24 runs scored.

Sophia Machowski signed to run cross country at St. Bonaventure.

Charlotte Takacsy signed to play soccer at Carleton University.
